Giants being "very coy" about Fluker

Draft insider Tony Pauline says the Giants are being "very coy" with their interest in Alabama T D.J. Fluker.
Pauline adds that Fluker is visiting the Minnesota Vikings, St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Giants have rarely spent early picks along the offensive line, but Fluker would instantly upgrade their physical mentality at the right tackle position. He does struggle to get back in his pass drop, but Fluker could have a future inside at guard if tackle doe snot work out.

I don't like it either. He struggles mightily in pass protection. On second thought, the pick is intriguing if you have him pegged as a guard at the next level.

That's what happens when you're used to looking up all the time.

As far as Fluker goes ... I have a really hard time seeing the Giants blowing a first round pick on what could end up being a Guard at the next level.

That and 21 reps on the bench doesn't translate into "mauler" at the next level. More like "mauled" once he goes up against players that actually hit the weight room.
