    Steelers matched the Offer sheet so that's that. pats don't get him. Does BB now put together an offer for Cruz? Before Friday?

    1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle

    However giving up a 1 vs a 3 is a huge difference as well as the money difference of 2.5m vs 8-10m. After looking at it my question above was a dumb one. Not comparing apples to apples here

    It helps because it forced the Steelers to clear up more cap space to match. That means an extra free agent that the Steelers can't sign now, making the competition a little easier.
