NHL WInter Classic Coming To Yankee Stadium.....

There will be 6 winter classic games next season. Two of them will be at Yankee Stadium. Here's the tentative schedule:

Jan 1: Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Detroit Red Wings @ Michigan Stadium

Jan. 25: Anahiem Ducks vs. LA Kings @ Dodger Stadium

Jan. 26: NJ Devils vs. NY Rangers @ Yankee Stadium

Jan. 29: NY Islanders vs. NY Rangers @ Yankee Stadium

March 1: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Chicago Balckhawks @ Soldier Field

March 2: Ottowa Senators vs. Vancouver Canucks @ BC Place

With all of the hype that comes with Super Bowl week, it makes sense for the winter classic to be in Yankee Stadium. And 2 games make even more sense.

That's actually awesome. I remember reading this article but didn't realize they were calling it a "winter classic" game.
