What I heard on radio on way home this afternoon

I honestly hope the Giants draft an OL with thev 1st round pick at #19. I doubt they will be on the board but I would love Cooper or Warmack. I would understand them drafting RT Fluker.

I would really love for them to be able to find a partner to trade down for a late 1stc round pick plus an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick.

What I heard on radio on way home this afternoon:
A Football analyst guest talking with Michael K on 98.7 around 4pm and said he heard that the Giants may consider picking TE Tyler Eifert with the 19th pick or a Safety. He claimed that they have many players with 1 yr contracts and dont usually start rookies. They want players that can be mentored for 1 year and be ready to start next year.

I hope they dont pick a Safety with the 19th pick.

I don't think that I would hate this pick, depending on who was left on the board at the time . . . .

I think he will be a good football player, and would not freak out if he becomes our pick. As far as safety goes, if it's Vaccaro, I'd be pretty pleased. The kids a baller.

It would definitely be frowned upon in my establish.... So many good TE's in this draft it would be horrible value. Not saying he won't be a great player but the value is pretty bad for the best player 19th overall in the draft. Same for Safety and Vaccaro is good but he;s overrated.

I guess Adrian Robinson went from the JPP of Tight Ends to the Cedric Jones of Tight Ends.

    Guess Reese was wrong.

I could see Eifert if he falls to 19. Not sure he will.

But the giants badly need a redzone guy, Eifert is the best high-point catcher at any position in this draft.
