Most likely are going to need a DE next year still as Moore wont solve their edge rushing issues

Ok, now hit me with the 2 Super Bowls in 5 years now........

I'm optimistic about Hosley & feel great about Prince, but the rest of the CB roster is pretty dicey.

    Rhodes woulda been nice...

Then we have DEPTH aka #6 or #7 CB's:

    Trumaine McBride
    Antonio Dennard
    Terrence Frederick
    Buddy Jackson
    David Caldwell
We had the 31st ranked pass defense last year. That's why. Do I need to go more into it?

Lol I consider myself to be a pretty hard core Giant fan (though I've lost a little bit of track since I live in San Diego now), but I gotta admit, I've never even heard of the last 5 guys you listed....But lets be honest Corey Webster sucked last year, T2 may never play again, Hosley is probably at best a nickel guy and Ross is burnt toast and nothing more...Their pass defense was one of the worst in the league last season and they are in dire need of mutliple upgrades

why did everyone want a corner well lets take a look...

    1. Webster is coming into the last year of his contract, prob will not be re-signed
    2. Prince is the only starting caliber corner currently on the roster (let's hope C-web regains his form)
    3. T2 is one hit away from retiring
    4. Ross is Ross...hes a decent backup but not a starting caliber corner
    5. Hosley is undersized to be a outside corner, and let's face it he didn't look that great last year. Maybe he will turn into a good slot corner at best

31st in passing yards per game..atrocious
18 pass plays of more than 30 yards this season (tied for the third-most in the league)

that is why we think we need corners

Some of those guys may not even make it to camp once we sign draft picks and FA

We have Kiwi and that Ojomo guy as depth. Moore is not a s down linemen. I see him as a pass rush specialist.

I didn't nessecarily want a corner, but there was great value at CB, and were not exactly lighting the world on fire with our pass defense, so why not take a guy like Xavier Rhodes in RD1, or Jamar Taylor in RD2, both of whom provided great value at a positon that is clearly a questoin mark?

    Corey Webster.

I mean just look at week one. Week freaking one Justin Tryon had to play in clutch time. If that doesn't show you that CB depth is a must then I don't know what to do.
