Let's see who makes the final 53. I hope we don't keep 3 QBs but we do have to consider Eli getting injured at some point as he ages. If we're comfortable with Car taking over and winning games, then this pick might be, as others have suggested, for a trade down the line. My hope is that there is a competition for Eli's back up and Nassib wins.

Ok, I'll bite. How are those two picks even remotely connected?

Matt Flynn wasnt traded he signed with Seattle as a FA. He then got traded from Seattle for a 5th.Since we used a 4th and a 6th we are already behind that
Kevin Kolb started 7 games and saw time in 12 the 2 seasons before he was traded. Unless Eli gets hurt there is no way in hell Nassib sees that time

    They're both from Syracuse.

Also, this thread has nothing to do with the draft, why was it moved here?

How would you like to be trashed by the GM..."hope he never has to play for us"...I'm paraphrasing.

But not so fast. Supposing the Giants make the playoffs the next 5 years, and Eli is no longer the quick healer that he is. So what kind of quarterback are the Giants likely to be able to draft with a perennial late draft position?
