That's an option but I was thinking they keep Carr and Nassib and move Painter. But who knows if Painter is any better than Carr?

Me to but you know the Giants like I know the Giants. We both know there is NO WAY they go into this season with a 4th round Rookie as Eli's Backup. With that said I don't see any other alterative then to carry 3. Unless they Cut both Carr and Painter at the end of preseason and see which one doesn't get picked up by another team. Then place that one on the PS as insurance

Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

Maybe Nassib will have a WOW camp and pre-season

My gut tells me they want Nassib holding a clipboard sooner then later.

However, Carr adds tremendous value to our team in practices with how well he knows our system.

We very well MAY have 3 QB's this year to be honest.

By the time Eli retires, Nassib will be an unrestricted free agent.

I'm not saying the kid doesn't have talent. But we only start 1 QB per game.

True. But with him mostly holding a Clipboard chances are he will just go ahead and resign with us. Especially with Eli about to Retire. Now if he became a URFA prior to Eli hanging it up then that could be interesting. Some other team may want to give him a shot at a starting role and that would be hard to pass up for someone just standing on the sideline for 3 or so years

He needs to be given the number 2 spot, from what i read he is a very smart guy. we dont want him to be #3 and just waste his talent.

2015 has the lowest cap hit remaining on his contract.
