Last Cowboys WIN and get IN game

Dallas played that kind of game 3 years ago.

2008, week 17: Cowboys @ Eagles - winner gets wild card, loser goes home

    Dallas lost big, 6-44.

    Hope history repeats this Sunday.

Hope it goes that way again. I remember once when we played them last game of year winner take all and they beat us by a FG in OT. Anyone remember when that was? I am thinking in late 80 s or in the 90 s
Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

The two teams faced this situation in 1993 (the last team with LT and Simms on it, Strahan and Armstead's first year) except the loser got a wild card game.

    We lost.

Dallas got the spark they needed (plus a week off and home field) and won their 2nd Super Bowl in a row.

One of the greatest games i have ever witnessed although it was a loss. Emmit beat us single handedly (pun intended)
