That's exactly how I felt at the time.

There was another thread this week from a fan in Europe, maybe titled Giants Jets. The poster was wondering why the Giants are so much more popular. Beyond the franchise histories which can't compare (and which many young fans don't care about) he should read this post to understand why those of us with an open mind can't find any way to root for that team in green.
No one remembers who came in second.

It reminds me of an expression that I used to hear all the time but not so much in the past 20 years. "Money doesn't buy you class".

Weatherford has saved our behinds more than most of us know, in my book he can say what he wants (although the video of JPP dunking Prince in the tub was a bad move).

PS: His first punt of the Super Bowl pinned the Pats deep and, in my opinion, caused the safety (where Brady got intentional grounding in the endzone) that put us up 9-0 as opposed to simply 7-0. At the end of the game the pats were down by 4 and playing for a TD and not down by 2 and playing for a FG. Makes you think......
not to mention the NFCCG when punters were just trading blows in the mud for the better part fthe second half. So easy to shank one, or bobble a snap under those conditions and he was money. In fact I think
I remember a bad snap or two that he pulled in.

Without Weatherford we might not win that game either.
