    Giants' Roster Breakdown: Ryan Torain

    http://www.bigblueview.com/2013/7/19...tt-michael-cox

Excerpt: "Ryan Torain is competing for a job with the Giants as a reserve running back.

Running back Ryan Torain is up next as we continue our player-by-player breakdown of the 90-man roster the New York Giants will bring to training camp in about a week.

    2012 Season In Review

The Giants signed Torain as a free agent in late November when injuries to Da'Rel Scottand Andre Brown, and the always banged-up status of Ahmad Bradshaw, left their running back group depleted. The 6-foot, 220-pound four-year veteran was only active in two games, however, and never touched the ball for the Giants." Read more...

Torain doesn't make the final 53 in my estimation. he cant be relied on to stay healthy, I mean more so than most other players.

I think hes on a ledge leaning to the "cut" side.

He's about the same size a Cox, 6' 220, he has more experience but also has a lot more wear and tear on his body... Not sure he is what they are looking for in a #3 or 4 back...

anyway you sice it the Giants are going to have a very good group of RBs this season. Who ever is left behind Brown and Wilson will be a very good addition IMO
