Yes, but not just us, think of all the players too. They've all been short-changed.

I'm not saying you are wrong; I said I don't have all the info to understand his place on the team.

Is he in decline? Effected by injury? Is he back in form? Will he get outplayed by Pugh?

    I have no clue.
I don't know the answers either. But circumstances seem to suggest that they planned on DD as a back-up and now he's the starter.
    What happened in between?

    1. They drafted Pugh.
    2. They saw how Pugh performed in mini-camp

    You do the math DC.

No one remembers who came in second.

And what about we fans? I mean 2 SB's in 5 years is an abomination.

We really should all switch to being Jets fans.

Bottom line is right now you have been proven correct about Pugh, but it's still early.

But the way I see it is I'm glad they are not installing him as a starter if he's not ready. We don't need another Luke P.

Maybe Eli should pull a Peyton and throw his linemen under the bus for once.
Eli Manning is better than your quarterback.

I'm not saying I know this and I'm making no claims here Rosie.
I'm just laying out the time line and the facts and am suggesting they point to disappointment in Pugh thus far.

I'm going to be very hard on Pugh because we passed on some great talent to pick him. So he better have his *** on the field every down and soon if they "loved" him so much.
He better be friggin NFL ready and fast.

    You could be right.

    Try this

    1) the draft Pugh
    2) DD comes back into form after injury.

i just wanted to throw this out there, just bc DD started the training camp with the first team doesnt suddenly make it a closed competition. its still an open competition. DD is a veteran, itd make sense that for training camp, when the coaches want drills and everything going smoothly, they'd want the guy who has experience starting out with the 1s, kinda set an example for pugh...

to think that bc dd took some snaps with the 1s to open camp, that some say that its disheartening and that it means dd has won the starting job...well...lol...
