When a guy has a broken foot, it needs to heal.
His injury has since healed properly. This injury is entirely unrelated.

The fact that the RR was beasting every chance he got yet the coaches kept putting in Nicks was alarming. It looks like the staff hasn't learned their lesson yet and sound like they're already motivated by letting injured guys at football.
Eli Manning is better than your quarterback.

This season we'll hear the tale we need to hear before nicks reaches the end of his contract. The HC is saying it the way he sees it. I hope HN comes thru like a champ but if we again see the injury bug bite... Oh well, there is always RR the next man up! Go Giants!

As long as he's healthy by the regular season I'm not going to worry too much. That being said, I'd love to see him get some reps with Eli before it.

    I'm talking about last year.
    What are you talking about?

And as for "when a guy has a broken foot, it needs to heal," much of Nicks' injury woes last year were attributed to the knee that he missed three games over, not the foot.

Lots of groin pulls come from overworking a particular muscle, inhibiting flexibility.
You act as though you know the root cause and you can't possibly.
I don't "ACT" as if I know anything, Im explaining to you what happened to me. Your the one who is assuming this whole thing. I did say Nicks is out of shape, and apparently there is something to that. If he "OVERWORKED" that muscle as you so eloquently put it, then YES he is out of shape because it is really hard to overwork a Groin Muscle by running and cutting unless your out of shape.

    Peace

One other thing to add -- Didn't Nicks Skip OTA's -- HMMM Go Figure

The knee (and the ankle) were caused by the foot injury.

I see you're clearly backpedaling out of your initial claims.

From saying Coughlin's mentality was the "exact attitude that caused him to come back too early last year and have an essentially lost season," you now "wonder how much of that is attributed to the 'he needs to get on the field' mentality."

Just because something happened to you doesn't mean its the same for Nicks. He's professional athlete.
Again...you cannot possibly know the root cause of Nicks' groin pull. You are assuming that he's "out of shape". Plenty of players who are in great shape still suffer from groin pulls.
