Sure, that's what I'm hoping for, but I sure as rain know that it's going to be a tough road to hoe to get there.
I was thinking 12 or 14 games, but agreed. Let's see if we mended our O-line and D before we start taking too many bows.

49ers have Boldin now, I believe. And Crabtree stunk anyway.

Let's just get to the playoffs (which I have my serious doubts about). I wouldn't worry about a 1st round bye just yet.

Did you actually watch him play last season?

No, I did not. Let's see him do it more than 1 year.

Hard to do that with a torn achilles whose effects could span into 2014.

He's a nice player, but he's been a disappointment overall. I was a big fan of his at TT.

To be fair, he did have Alex Smith throwing to him to start with.

I think Kapernicks gonna continue to get better. I thought he was a steal for the 9ers and i was very high on him when he was coming outta nevada. Skys the limit for a big tall kid like him whos got blazing speed and a big arm and now has NFL postseason expierence as well. Sounds to me like ur just wishing he comes down to earth with nothing to say he actually will.

one guy isnt going to make or break any team really. If we dont get lucky with mininal injuries to our oline and defense we wont go very far.

I was big on Kaep, too. My rankings that year were:

    1. Dalton
    2. Ponder
    3. Kaepernick
    4. Mallett
    5. Newton

All over the place, but I generally liked the "second tier" guys way more than the "first tier."
