It still feels better then losing, especially with those obnoxious, unclassy, stooger Bastin fans.... Dont they realize they root for a roider in Ortiz?

The 2003 failed drug test. Dont give me that Ryan Braun, Milkshake excuse. He was busted.
The fact that him and ManRam juiced their way into 2 WS wins.
Maybe it is because he was nothing with the M's and Twinkies, then goes to Boston in the height of the steroid era and become "BIG PAPI".
He was really close with Miguel Tajada, who just got busted again and name linked to Biogenesis which means all the names were not leaked, which means certain players paid to keep their names off it.
Not to mention his roid rage on a telephone in a dugout after a bad strike call.
How about his dropping the F bomb in a stadium packed with kids who look up to athletes as role models. Ok, maybe that was more roid rage.
The fact that he grew in the Red Sox clubhouse where they practically handed out needles for those who wanted. SEE THE LOU MERLONI STEROID STORY.
And lets not forget, he is now in his late 30's and still playing better and better after a disappointing year a few years back where he needed some time on the westcoast... What did he do over there?
And one last one, BECAUSE IT IS 100% COMPLETELY OBVIOUS IN THIS DAY IN MLB. You have to be a blind man in a dark room with no pulse to not see he was/ is using some kind of PED.

The "Fbomb" he dropped pumped up the city in ways you can't imagine. They made T shirts. His comments were the turning point for the city in its recovery after that tragedy.

    That is a HORRIBLE example.
As for the 2003 thing. I saw a story where an unnamed source said he was one of the players. He denied it. Nothing else has come from it. Was he juicing? I don't know...Maybe, maybe not. As we know, half the league was. Is he now? Who the hell knows but he keeps passing tests. Just like all the Yankees on the field.

Only Bostonians would get pumped because of that. There was a time and place, that that wasnt it. There were thousands of little kids there in the stands. They probably dropped F Bombs on the way home in their mom/dads car.

It was a tragedy though, obviously.

And yes, Big Papi is passing the tests... or just keeping his name clean. The truth will come out when he is off the Red Sox team, like it did for Manny. The Red Sox have a shield protecting them of PEDs somehow.

You have no idea how important David Ortiz was to the recovery of the city. Again....On this one point, you have no idea what you are talking about.
