Thread: Well the Titans look like a bad team again

I think that is hilarious. Aren't defensive players of the year supposed to be able to stop someone running the ball?
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

We'd still be paying him more than Baltimore with the cap hit from his old guaranteed money factored in.

    Well, we're paying that anyway.

Canty's 1.5 mil cap hit this year makes him a steal. Baltimore got him for a song, lol.

And we got Jenkins for about the same as Canty. Jenkins is if nothing else as good as Canty.

I don't mind Jenkins. He got a very similar deal from us, i.e., he's only hitting our cap for a few hundred grand more than Canty's Baltimore hit. So I wouldn't mind having re-signed Canty, signing Jenkins, drafting Hankins, and letting Patterson and Rogers (combined ~1.3 million hit) go elsewhere.

Especially if Canty will be as good as I anticipate this year.

This also assumes that Canty would have agreed to re-do his deal to match what Baltimore gave him. There's no guarantee of that, though.

Forget Canty's feelings on the matter, the Giants thenselves cut him without even offering a restructured deal. Indicates to me that the Giants just wanted to move on, and Canty was probably on board, too.

Man my boy Pat White looking good on that drive for the skins.. Getting the TD with his legs and buying time to hit a a WR for the two point conversion to take a 1 point lead with 2 minutes left. That was the reason I was hoping the Gmen would get him as a backup. He was to come in for a tryout but the redskins signed him before he got to come to NY
