Funny how he was a pretty strong fan favorite on here. Id say he has looked better then Jernigan or Barden at this point.

And Douglas would see the field just add often here as JJ and Barden. Also remember, Douglas was going up sharing second tier players, too. Not to say the kid is without any talent, but let's keep things in perspective.

In retrospective, David Diamond Douglas, even had some punt return ability, which we are searching for now on ST. Barden has no ST value. I thought Douglas was a special player and like Ojomo can only perform against the level of talent he plays against. Is he the next UDFA Victor Cruz, no, but definitely not a player you want to lose from your team with that kind of upside.

We have invested 8 years in jJ and Braden. We can't just throw that away for everyone who plays better the them.

Those 3 catches for 16 yards against NE are soooooooo awesome. Why did we ever let that go?

BTW, we've actually gotten more production out of JJ last year than the Bucs got out of Douglas. Douglas had zero catches for zero yards to go along with zero punt returns and zero kick returns.

David Douglas only had one target all night and that was a 12 yard catch for a Touchdown late in fourth quarter for the winning points vs dolphins in a 17-16 TB win. That's 2 TDs in two weeks for DD. will it be enough for him to make the team? We will see
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

He survived the first round of Cuts by TB.... Someone who did not was former Giants WR/ST player Derek Hagan.....
