Thread: Any chance this happens?

    Any chance this happens?

Would the Giant coaching staff consider moving Kiwi back to linebacker? That would allow them to keep an extra DE like Tracy or a DT like Patterson while helping the depth issue at linebacker.

Personally, I'd rather they leave Kiwi alone for once at his natural position, but I could see where the team might be tempted to do this... or at least use him in this way in some packages

Tuck has been seeing some looks at linebacker as well, maybe see what he's got in the position?

Also, Moore was slated to be a DE/OLB hybrid (albeit as a total pass rusher)... maybe he could learn some things about coverage? He's seemed to be pretty open to learning things from the vets and coaches so far...

Thank you Reddit for the best gif ever.

I think the ideal situation would be pulling off a trade with some team with too many linebackers. Player for player that would be cut anyway and just see if they strike gold

Are there any teams in particular overloaded with linebackers and thin at DT? That would be ideal...

How is Kiwi against the run? He surely isn't going to help with covering TE's. So if he can't play the run well from the LB position I wouldn't see the point.

Yeah that would be great. Not sure who'd be willing to deal though

NO WAY!! Keep Kiwi where he belongs on the D-line. He is just not a good LB. We have guys that will be ok at the LB position. Giants strength is the D-line why mess with that??

Kiwi may very well play LB. I don't think that has any effect on a roster spot. And I don't see the obsession with a 6th DT, especially in the wake of losing a starting safety with another one currently injured and another beginning with a suspension.

We have enough safeties....Rolle said he will be ready for week 1 and Cooper Taylor should be fine by then and it's not like we don't have linebackers.

Forgot about Taylor, hoping he turns into a good one.
No one remembers who came in second.
