Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

Re: Matty Ice is next contestant on the new game show

On a serious note... I watched J. jones play vs my kids local Highschool for 4 years. Mine went to Daphne High and one of their Rivals was FoleyHigh which Jones played for. He was a man among boys. We did beat them a few times in nationally televised games, but..... I knew this kid was going to be something special. He went on to play for Bama and won a NC there. He has had an overall decent year despite some injury problems and is dangerous with that break away speed after the catch.
We miss a tackle on him and he is gone (like Cruz, even more so) so we need to wrap him up.

With all that said I think we have an advantage because they are a dome team (8 home games) in a dome division. So alot of their games all year home and away are in domes. We need to hope its a cold nasty day.....

Just checked. Played saints, colts and lions away. All in Domes. That's 11 Dome games. Tampa away not considered cold weather. Carolina on dec 11 lost 17-10 but again not real cold.
Bears in first game of season sept 11, weather not cold but lost 30-12. Seattle Oct 2 won 30-28. Houston dec 4th lost 17-10. Again not cold in texas on dec 4.

So the closest thing to a cold weather game was dec 11th in Carolina.

They could be in for a shock next week

I'm sure none of us (or the Giants) are taking them lightly. The Falcs are a well balanced team across the board and Ryan's a very good QB. That being said, I'd rather face them in the 1st game than any of the others -- I like that we haven't faced them this year.

That stinks. I'm all the way down south by gulf of Mexico and next few days will be 40s during day and 20s at night.

To bad I was really hoping for a weather advantage but it doesn't sound like we will get it.
