Next year Opponents - 7 of the 11 Playoff Teams

Not getting ahead of ourselves, but has anyone noticed that next season, providing they keep the same rotation and not go to a 18-game schedule the Giants will be playing 7 of the 11 Playoff teams this year.

    Saints,
    Steelers
    Packers
    Falcons
    Ravens
    Bengals
    49er's

Lets see who we played this season who made the playoffs in 2010:

    Patriots
    Jets
    Packers
    Saints
    Seahawks
    Eagles 2x

    Thats 7 games!

The best teams play the best teams, so when you win, you play the best the following year.

The way they are playing, I agree. They are peaking at the right time. They way I see it, after next Sunday, Packers then the Saints, then and date in Indy on the 5th.

Schedules are the schedules, only 2 opponents are based on divisional seeding.

On average, only about half the teams in one year's playoffs make the playoffs the following year....

I watch the Steelers/Ravens on a consistent basis (live in MD), they're nowhere near as good as it seems. The AFC is weak, and they feast on a really weak offensive division.

Yeah, it's not always who you play but when you play them. Some of these playoff team may stink next year. OTOH, some of the punching bags might be much improved.

    GO JAI-YANTS!!

Saints - Tough team. Will they still be next year? Could be sans Colston and they could move down from a great team to a good one.
Steelers - Getting older. Much Older. Wont be terribly tough.
Packers - Will still be a tough game but we can do it.
Falcons - Up and down team. Who knows what we get next year.
Ravens - Getting older as well. We can beat them.
Bengals - Young team. Might be a bit tough.
Niners - I wonder if they were a one year wonder. We will soon find out next year.
