Who will/won't be back next season?

Id have to assume Ross is gone, t2 is a primary resign, Kp needs to be back but who else will be gone?!

    My guess,

    Ross, manningham, jacobs(cut), grant

KP isn't a FA why did you list him?

Jacobs isn't going anywhere... he might have to take a bit of a cut though. Who would you replace Jacobs with?

Jacobs is fantastic when the line blocks

Bradshaw cannot be a full time starter in the NFL. Him & Jacobs are the perfect 1-2.

Hopefully Da'Rel Scott cracks the rotation next year a lot more.

I would not count on TT. That is the same ACL he tore before. Two tears to the same ACL is not a good thing.

I think we lose Manningham and Ross as we will have trouble paying up for guys that are pretty replaceable.

Goff and Thomas are tougher cases. It depends on whether they can get healthy and show the coaches that they can still play at a high level.

I'd like to find a replacement for McKenzie, but I have a gut feeling that he'll be back next year. Not the end of the world

[/quote]At worst McKenzie provides excellent depth.

True but it'd be a shame if we can't afford one of the other guys because we overpaid for him

Re: Who will/won't be back next season?

WR Mario Manningham UFA (unless he wants too much, he's very talented but struggles with route running, inconsistent hands, miscommunications)

    WR Devin Thomas UFA
    TE Jake Ballard UFA
    - Priority
OT Kareem McKenzie UFA (we may see him back in a reserve role for the min)
LB Jonathan Goff UFA - Priority
CB Michael Coe UFA - (could sign for cheap)
    CB Brian Jackson UFA
CB Aaron Ross UFA - (really depends on status of T2, Ross isn't awful but he's not a #2)
CB Terrell Thomas UFA - (Priority if he's healthy.. even then still need him back)

    Black: Gone
    Grey: Undecided

Re: Who will/won't be back next season?

I would definitely bring back: Manningham, Ballard, McKenzie, Goff, Ross and TT. The latter three would be signed because depth at their position is questionable (Mike LB and CB).

I would not like to see Devin Thomas back, unless the convinced that Hixon would not be back and healthy next year, or that D. Scott would not be able to take over on the return duties.

I have no real impressions about Brian Jackson, Michael Coe, so it would be ridiculous to say one way or another about those two. What is the overall opinion about them on this board?

    Go Blue!
