I was being facetious. Kinda like when Knick fans were begging for Patrick Ewing Jr.

Same thing with Nate Montana and both Simms kids... although I think Matt could replace a bunch of starters in this league (including his own), but he's not given the chance.

Thank you Reddit for the best gif ever.

Ive watched a lot of his HS tape.

He has the burst and vision like his dad. But I dont think he has the hips.

His dad was so much smoother in all phases, running, planting, stopping, etc. Jr. is much more of a choppy player.

Hes going to be a good player if he stays healthy, but I think hes more of a Ray Rice type upside rather than Barry Sanders 2.0.

And perhaps its just me, but I see a ton of Reggie Bush to his running style.

Yeah but he's a red shirt freshman. I've been watching all the Stanford games this year to get a glimpse but keep coming up disappointed with his one or two carries a game. I thought he was going to be featured this year after they sat him last season but I guess I was wrong. He was a big signing for them but I guess he's in their future plans.

I'm surprised everyone hasn't started freaking out for Jake Matthews brother Mike Matthews because he is a center. I remember everyone freaking out for Casey Matthews and the guy was horrible. I think he got drafted because Clay was his brother.
