The Giants have the best strength of victory of any playoff team.

The Falcons have the 6th best strength of victory of all playoff teams.

They've beaten hardly anyone. If those scrub teams can some how figure out how to hold down ATLs WRs and Gonzo, I think SOME HOW the Giants will be ok.
Sure but all of those teams had better DB's than the giants, you ranked 29th in the league for pass def
The Giants pass defense is a major weakness only when that pass rush is not steamrolling and the LB'ers and secondary play too many confusing zone coverages. They have simplified it more the last two games so that the only confusion occurring is coming from the opponent's offense and not our own defense lol. There is also a lot more man-press going on than earlier in the year. Look at the Giants defense the last two weeks. That's what Atlanta is going to get.

You stop that by getting a lead, which the Giants will, and letting the dogs rush the passer.

You're right, the Giants can't stop it. The Falcons will obviously win so frankly, I don't even know why they're even bothering to play this game.
You have to twist Julio Jones' numbers a bit to make it work, and assume he'll be healthy in the future, but if you take the last six games the rookie dynamo has started and finished -- which excludes Atlanta's first game against New Orleans -- and lay the average out over a full 16-game season, you get 72 catches, 1,579 yards and 21 touchdowns. The yardage figure would be in the top 20 all-time, and the touchdowns would only be outranked by Jerry Rice in 1987 and Randy Moss in 2007.

Victor Cruz Was Second In Yac For People With 50+ Catches... Only behind Julio Jones
Hey Gonzo, did you get your answer or do we need to explain it to you?

Lol. That's how u STOP it baby.... Pitch a shutout against an offense that put up 45 points last week.....

The only points your high powered Ryan, Julio, tony, turner, roddy could get was...............

That right eli gave u your only two pts of game on safety. And that made it 2-0. Outscored 24-0 rest of game even though u got all the close calls.
Could have been alot worse had they gave us that first down prior to half and when nicks was mugged on goal line and no call
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

The problem is that the Falcons couldn't do much anyway.
