Looking for feedback on taking the NJ Transit train to the new stadium

I haven't had an opportunity to attend a game at the new stadium yet but I bought tickets to the Falcons playoff game and will be coming from the Princeton area with my 13 year old son. I've read some horror stories about taking the train on the internet, but they seem to be from 2009 season and some concerts. Can anyone give me some feedback on the current experience taking the train from the Secaucus station to the and from the game? Thanks!

I done both the train and the buses i perfer the bus from port authority but if your taking the trains it is fine going to the stadium but leaving the stadium it is jam packed

I'm coming from central Jersey so I'm thinking of the train instead of driving because the last time I drove, the last year of the old stadium, it was like a four hour nightmare getting out. I figured the trains are probably jammed, but thought it still might be better than driving.

[edit]After seeing the cost of parking permits on the secondary market and reading about the offsite parking experience, we'll definitely be taking the train, since I have a NJ Transit train station 5 minutes from my house. [/edit]

In case anybody ever comes back and reads this thread. The NJ Transit train to and from the stadium was a great way to go to the game. I thought it would be ugly leaving the game but it wasn't, yes, it was crowded, but it was a very smooth process.
