    Here's the link...

    http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...s-deal-ed-reed

He played seven seasons under Ryan while he was an asst coach at Baltimore... I had forgot that.

The patriots were the only other team to contact him. So obviously the giants were not interested despite all the Threads on here with people thinking we needed him, lol
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

And that is probably the only reason the Jets / Rex picked him up. He was cheap and Rex can control him better than most. If he can add a little veteran experience to the locker room it will be a good thing.

It was painful to watch. The same old Jets! It's painful to be a Jets fan!!! At least the Giants are looking good so far today, so my day is not a complete waste of time!

Most Jet fans thought this was a rebuilding year anyway, so if you look at it that way, you keep him in and let him learn. But really!!!! Games like this make me wonder why I even bother watching! At least the Tailgates 10 times a year make up for the crappy team.
