Carson Palmer had Tommy John surgery, and his arm has never been since.

Exactly when do you think we will see the guy? Eli will be here for at least 5 more years.

Luck is in his 2nd year. What year Eli is in?

Reggie Wayne is the leader of the team & that's who Luck have the best connection with, that's his security blanket,

The Colts are 8-4. On track to make the playoffs.

Just interested in seeing the reactions...
Why would ANY professional NFL GM--let alone some mo-mo fan-- take only ONE 1st rd pick for Eli this off season? He's a former #1 overall pick with two SBs and two SB MVP awards on his resume. I don't think a trade of only 1 pick has ever occurred involving a player with that kind of pedigree.

The only circumstance I could see--and only theoretically at that, since there is zero chance the Giants ACTUAL GM/owners would consider trading him--even for 1 split second--this off season, would be for a minimum of two 1st rd picks plus a second rd this year and a third rd next year (or a solid young OL player with a few years remaining of his contract in addition to two 1st rd and a third rd pick this year. And only if that offer were from Houston this year or another high 1st rd pick team this year.

That's the only trade that would make even a small modicum of sense, as this coming draft looks at least to be fairly decent for a couple QBs going early.

because he's on the backside of his career.
And he takes up enormous cap room.
Another team doesn't get to claim the championships we won with Eli.

Eli would have tons of motivation to give us a fantastic 2015 NFL season and he could either be resigned to a short deal to further mentor (also start unless his bad play emerges) our future QB or he could move on to another team and we thank him for everything he has done. Mariota, Petty, even the possibility of Famous Jameis...Nassib on the other hand will make an excellent 2nd/3rd string QB for the rest of his career.
with the amount of money the Giants have paid Eli over his career he shouldn't need motivation to play his best every sunday

    Stop now please

we have seen this phenomena before

Bob Griffin has the disease now, its called your a 2nd yr man and we have figured you out.............let Luck show me his 2 rings and we'll begin to consider him as a rival to Eli
