Report: RGIII bragged about his influence over Snyder

"So why are the Redskins sensitive about the perception that quarterback Robert Griffin III’s input regarding the coaching hire means he has too much influence over the team? Possibly because perception is reality.

According to Sally Jenkins of the Washington Post, Griffin has “bragged to teammates that he could procure favors from the owner and influence the franchise’s direction.” Jenkins cites unnamed “insiders” in support of the report.

She also writes that Griffin engaged in “fierce finger-pointing tensions with his wide receivers” during the quarterback’s second season."

    coach killer

Shanahan is a good ball coach...imagine Shanny and his zone-blocking at the height of the Eli Era ? (Jacobs, Bradshaw, Suebert, Diehl, MacKenzie...)

Why do you think he wanted out? He was trying to get fired. You cant operate under an owner like that, just like Jerry Jones and the late Al Davis.

Hard to take info from "insider" sources as gospel, but Griffin does come across as a bit of a ****.

Bobby was the owners pick, so anyone who stands in his way will go down in flames.
I thought it was hilarious what Shanahan did this year, he benched a healthy Bob Griffin and replaced him with the QB he wanted to start all along.
Talk about giving the owner the middle finger to his face... Yes he got fired, but the Redskins still have to pay him his $7 million base salary next year.

We ARE talking about Snyder who has a passion for the spotlight. He's enamored with his headline grabbing QB. Shanahan (a SB winning HC) didn't stand a chance.

Long live Dan Snyder!!! As long as he's around the Redskins will be laughed at.

I can believe this because it was obvious during RG3's rookie season and all of his CONSTANT press conferences that the media's fawning all over him had gone to his head. But he better be careful, though. He's just Synder's newest shiny toy and Synder gave away a lot to get him. If RG3 doesn't bounce back his so-called influence with Synder won't count for much when Synder kicks him to the curb.

And since he and Luck both went in the same draft whatever playoff success Luck has this season will put more pressure on RG3 to do the same next season, especially with a new coach coming in.
One of these teams is not like the others
