Hope not. He looks like Vernon Davis, but we need someone who can block, especially with Beatty a big ? now.

Agreed. we can get much better value with the 12th pick than a TE

He can't block but that might fly depending on who the oc is and with pope coaching him up.

the mocks have us picking everything from TE to DT. I've seen several DBs, LB, tons of O line choices as well. I did notice that TE Ebron and WR Mike Evans seem to both be available when we pick
Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

I wouldn't mind the Giants drafting a TE in the later rounds, but TE isn't a big enough need to spend a high draft pick on. Hopefully, the new OC will actually want to utilize the TE as a real weapon.
