Bear Pascoe is the Giants’ jack-of-all-trades.
Pascoe, a fifth-year pro, is a tight end by trade but has also been a valuable contributor at fullback. He can catch. He can block. He can play special teams. His versatility gives the Giants flexibility because his presence on the field doesn’t dictate a run or pass play.
That versatility was never more evident this offseason and in training camp when he filled in at fullback for the injured Henry Hynoski.
“We’re very confident that Bear, no matter what role we place him in, he does an outstanding job,” coach Tom Coughlin said when Hynoski suffered a devastating knee injury last June. “Bear has had opportunities to play (fullback), B tight end, Y tight end and he’s always done a nice job.” Read more...
