    im a big eli fan too BUT cmon. hes too generous with the ball. hes becoming more accurate though and hes tough as nails. hes a HOFer but not in the top 10. I like marino as well but peyton owns him. im not a brady fan but hes the goods. if this was a ''whos your FAVORITE qb'' thread......

    I expect that barring injury when all is said and done with his career that Aaron Rodgers will make this list.

    But you can't say one era was more or less challenging than another. Earlier eras had less rules protecting the QB, and often the QB had to call their own plays at the huddle (which only Peyton does nowadays). On the other hand, modern QBs need to be able to throw on the move a hell of a lot more and hit much smaller throwing windows than they used to.
