Thread: Why do people watch Curling ????

  1. #11
Many people feel the same way about American Football. Everyone's different.

For some reason, I am hooked on curling....have been for the last few Olympics.

Yup. Some of the women are pretty good looking. Like in an "office hot" sort of way.

I actually enjoy watching it too because it's so boring/simple. It's a change of pace from the heart palpitations the Cowboys provide.

1920s sports coverage must have been really pitiful to add this passtime to the O games.
It's like shuffleboard on ice.....I think it's sort of cool.

I was going to answer, "they don't" but this thread proves me wrong. I do remember watching it once while very drunk in a Toronto hotel room. We had a lot of fun doing what Analyst said and it was a great time.

Of course, that was 25 years ago and I don't think I've seen a game since.

Now I feel like getting a case of Molson and a CBC subscription.
