Re: A look at the 2011 NFL draft
With Tynes injury and awful kickoffs how about a guy thats only attempted 1 FG in college. Adi Kunalic of Nebraska leads all of CFB with the best KO average. He has 35 touchbacks in 53 kickoffs. Normally I would just dismiss a guy like this because there is no room on the roster for a KO specialist but Kunalic is a special case. Kunalic is a back up behind if not the best one of the best FG kickers in all of college football in Alex Henry. Kunalic wanted to redshirt his senior season so he would get a chance to showcase his goods next season when Henry goes to the NFL but wasnt allowed because he is to much of a weapon on ST. I think Pelini did a disservice to the kids future by not allowing him to redshirt but he did what was in the best interest of his team. Still part of me thinks college coaches have a duty to give kids the best chance to succeed in life and Im not sure he did in this case. I think Kunalic gets an invitation for sure by somebody to an NFL training camp though. He is such a weapon on special teams Im sure a team will give him an opportunity to prove himself in the preseason. I hope for this kid sake there is a season or he may not get a chance.
How does everyone feel about Dont'a Hightower? Kids huge, seems smart and scheme diverse. Any extended info on this kid? He looks great in this game.
With Dareus, Jones, Ingram, Barron, ect. I honestly don't see Hightower coming out, I think he stays in school another year.

Top 2 guards IMO at this point have gotta be Rodney Hudson (FSU) and Mike Pouncey (UF). Not a position of need for the Giants, just sayin-

How about Gator boy Janoris Jenkins. Great cornerback who was overshadowed by Joe Haden. He won't be drafted as high as Haden but is just as good IMO. With such a deep class of DB's, Jenkins could slip to round 2-3 and be a value pick.
