Seems about right to me.

1st to use the phrase "In Reese we trust"
I put RB's into two categories as far as the best...
1) Best pure rushers:
Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers, Adrian Peterson.
2) Best all around backs: (Catch, block, and rush) Ladainian Tomlinson, Marshall Faulk, Thurman Thomas etc..
#44 Once a Giant, always a Giant
The greatest all around RB I have ever seen play was without a doubt Walter Payton. He did it all! I didnt have the pleasure of seeing Brown or Sayers except for highlights. The most dynamic RB I have seen is Sanders so he needs to be in argument. Don't know if its just my bias but I don't feel that Emmit Smith should be top 10. He just gets recognized because of his longevity. The RB who could of been the best and had the most potential was Bo Jackson.

Walter should be on both your lists
I'll be humble and defer to the old timers since I've only seen highlight reel footage of a lot of these guys. But for my money, I've never seen anything like Barry Sanders before or since.
OJ Simpson has to be on the top 10 list unless we choose to simply ignore his existence which would be OK with me.
No one remembers who came in second.

Yeah OJ was pretty killer back in the day.

Tough 1.
For me, if there was a draft and I could select 1 guy it would be Barry Sanders.
That guy played for a horrible team. They had nothing else to hang their hat on.
If he had been on another team, 1 with a line or a Qb that could actually make teams NOT stack vs the run, I think nobody here would see it differently.
