    Yeah I saw this last night. Apparently a team friendly deal... 1 year contract with multi year option. Haven't seen the details yet though.

    I guess the opportunity to play in his home town and be reunited with Rod Marinelli was what he wanted? We'll see.

    75k? That's not even vet minimum.

    He's being paid something like 550k this year and 600 something next year. But his actual cap hit this year is only 75k for this year.

    He's going to be their backup.. How is that a bad thing? Getting someone with legit experience to play behind Romo?

    I've seen a good amount of film on him when I was doing a Josh Gordon film study, and the guy gets bashed more than he probably should. He's not a good QB, but he's a serviceable back up for sure.

    If we're really being honest, there's no real distinguishable difference between he and Curtis Painter, who has a bigger cap hit for you guys, but overall receiving about the same amount of money.

    Weeden is a billion times better then Curtis Painter.
