He's mocked to the Ravens (#17) and Dolphins (#19) a lot.. That's a small window to trade back, but it's possible

If all the Giants top guys are gone.. Martin is a good fall back plan

Draft Barr or Donald if they're there. If they're gone also....I'm scared.

I think Martin projects as the best guard which I think is still an area of need.

He's not very fast. Not slow of course but if you want to take a WR at 12, he better be the complete package in my view.
That scheme he played in is a problem as well.

There have been some reports (I think Graziano from ESPN) that the Giants view Schwartz as our swing tackle in case Beatty isn't ready for the beginning of the season. We'll just insert Jerry, who has been a starter for two years. I don't see the Giants thinking a guard at 12 is good value, and even if you view Martin as a tackle, what do you do with Beatty when he comes back? Either way, the Giants would've have spent at least one of our last two first rounders on a guard?? Not sure about that.

Just my guess, but I don't think the chances of us drafting an offensive lineman are particularly high.

    I'm all for it.

Nevermind, the oxygen in my space helmet is working again.

I think he has a valid point. If were able to pick say in mid 20s and grab another 2nd or 3rd by trading the 12th pick, Benjamin wouldn't be a bad choice
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

Kids got tremendous raw talent and we wouldn't need him to jump right in and start
