    Heh?

We all know about the Yankees issues with Steroids as they are pointed out and focused on all the time. Yankees players get exposed while Sox players are hidden from the truth. Ortiz is a roider, I have 100% no doubt about it, and he gets away with it. IT has been floated around several times by players not naming him directly ("Red Sox should look in their own clubhouse" and "They treat a guy like he is king of their city"). Arod is a ******, Tex probably used, but Ortiz singlehandedly won the Sox 3 WS basically off his power swing and got popped in that 2003 report, and is not an ideal image for a role model with his crying and phone smashing and cursing... Ortiz is an asshat who gets away with whatever he wants. Free Pass Papi. Its pretty obvious.

It is funny. Personally I'm not outraged by PED's since a LOT of players use them. It seems strange however that some Yankee fans can constantly whine about Papi when so many Yankees have actually been caught, or admitted to using them.

Best to leave the entire subject alone for everyone's sake.

Sounds like a lot of misplaced resentment to me.

Ortiz is GOD in Boston, especially after the bombing last year. There is no revelation about PED's that would change that.
Some things are bigger than baseball.

There were actually a few Yankee fans who were criticizing Papi after his famous "this is our ****ing city" comment.
No one moment helped heal a city more than THAT one. It was a collective "**** YOU" to the bombers from the city of Boston.

How some Yankee fans can't understand that after what NY went through 13 years ago is beyond me.

I knew you would take the bait.

The reason why I talk about the Red Sox and steroids is exactly what you just said, the Yankees are constantly questioned, pointed out, focused on, squeezed, blamed, and listed. Name me a Red Sox player busted while on the Sox? Mitchell wouldnt let those names slip. Wonder why. With all the stories of Lou Merloni and Manny how can no Red Sox players get called out? Oh, Papi did, but he didnt understand how he got caught so it went away. Ortiz is an asshat, and not just for his free pass, his baby like antics are extreme. Crying after every called strike, complaining about every "hit" wuled an error in untimley and outlandish manner, smashing a phone booth to pieces after a K in a game the Sox were up 7-3 in the 7th inning like it ended everything, his bigger than MLB attittude about Chris Archer and his HR bat flip and stare downs like a comeplete ******bag. The guy is a clown. A real POS. A liar. A phoney. "This is our city"? Where did he think he was, Santa Domingo? Please. Its an act right up there with A-hole. I dont expect you Boston fans to understand since he is the sad face of the Red Sox.

Ok, now back to the Yanks.

Yankees acquire lefty specialist Outman from Indians

I hope this guy gives us another lefty option out of the pen.

Just have Tanaka get the TJ surgery already, so he'll will be ready for Opening Day in 2016. It's inevitable IMO.

    A typical 2014 loss today.

Solid starting pitching, bullpen does it's job. Yet the bats don't come through, so the Yanks lose 2-0.

If only Cano wasn't so greedy.

Cano is 9th in baseball in wins above replacement. The closest Yankee hitter is Brett Gardner at 39th!! George Steinbrenner would have brought him back no matter what.
