    Robert Ayers contract terms

    2014 - base salary: $730,00. .... 2014 CAP hit: $1,250,000
2015 - base salary: $1,230,000 ..... 2015 CAP hit: $2,500,000 (however, we can save 2,000,000 off of the CAP if we release him)

Seems like another great deal for us. Dude is a quality run defender and can offer help in the pass-rushing department as well.

(just to note: Tuck's 2014 CAP hit is $5,000,000, so we saved a lot by going for Ayers instead)

I am very impressed especially with the contracts that Reese and company have worked out to fill in some of the gaps this offseason. I tip my hat to him.
Perry Fewell is out there playing Tecmo Bowl defense with just 4 plays you can pick from on the remote control.

Not bad terms. And upside he is young
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

That's an excellent signing, in terms of $$. Tuck was not worth what he got from Oakland and that 11.5 sacks last year was an aberration. Ayers will never be Tuck when Tuck was in his prime, but that's a very fair contract for the Giants.

I thought Ayers also had bonuses included in his contract. Are these just the base/cap numbers? Anyone have the bonus information (if any)?
