yeah that guy is off the wall huh?......then again Amaro insists he is a very very good blocker......Hey if we are going 4-12 in a rebuild year It would be nice to see NY's other team go somewhere.....and Of course Cleveland is now my favorite AFC team :-)

His level of competition was horrific. Many of the defenses he played were among the worst in the nation.

He cant block and only really lined up as a slot receiver in college.

    Man, I hope you're right!!
I hated the fact that the Jets picked him.. Here's to a Jets "Bust" of a pick!!

Small hands. Amaro's hands are much better than Ebron.

    Statistically that is true.

I was merely listing the negative facts about him. Those are all absolute facts.

My opinion about his film is different and mixed. I made it known I liked him, just not as much as many here. I felt he was not a 1st rounder and that he was the 3rd best TE in the draft(behind Ebron and ASJ.) As it turns out, that is the exact order they went.

The reason I mention his small hands is because if you watch his tape you see him make catches almost exclusively in wide open spaces without defenders around. There are very few contested catches at all. That goes to the level of defenses he played all year too. He will not be that open as routinely in the NFL and when fighting for contested catches having small hands does matter.

He will still fit in with the Jets just fine and he will make catches. I was not implying that he is a garbage player. I just felt that based on Reese pre draft comments about valuing blocking from the TE position and based on his character concerns he wasn't ever going to be picked by the Giants. He is a poor blocker and had 2 big character red flag incedents.
