Exclamation Johnny Manziel was txting the Cleveland GM begging them to trade up

4-5 txts went back and forth and they did it

Maybe he knows he wont be very good and if he is in cleveland he wont take all the blame.

He will make some nice money and wont have much expected of him there. Perfect place for the most overrated player in college.

I thought that it was interesting that Quinn, Weeden and Manziel were all taken with pick #22. Bad kharma or three times a charm?

It's kind of embarrassing if a player has to text a team and tell them to draft him as he's sliding down the draft board, especially when that team had already passed him up the first time.
One of these teams is not like the others

    Thats what I was thinking,....

    "Ohh, pick me! pick me!"

Its like that kid in a pickup basketball game no one wants.

Exactly. And knowing that Manziel was basically a Stage 5 Clinger on draft day makes his draft day slide even funnier.
