We are going to have to seriously suck this year to get him.

You guys would have replaced Eli this year for Mariota if you could have?

Not replace Eli but bring in his successor. When you watch Mariota play and how mature his game is, you have to think about the future of your franchise, look at what the Colts did, essentially letting a proven HOF walk for the future of their franchise, Mariota is that type of player. He will be the #1 QB going off the boards if he declares next year. If the Giants are within striking distance of him, I would hope he is a serious consideration for them, Eli is not getting younger and to have Mariota sit the sideline and learn from him can benefit us tremendously.

I'll go ahead and saying right now, A.Peterson 2.0 .
    Runs with power
can out run safety's and DB
    Catches out the backfield
Shows patience when needs be or blows through tight holes
deceptively quick, fast twitch movements to make people miss
    Most important can pass block
He is a Every down goal line RB.
I truly don't care who we have in our backfield, Gurley needs to be a Giant

I agree. I like Hundley alot too. I bet we see some nice improvements in his game this year.

With that said, the Giants will not draft QB.

And Gurley is going to be great if he is healthy, but they wotn touch him either.

I am sorry, but I truly hate this line of thinking. Why are you so willing to box our team into a small sample or possibility?
I would of understood if you would of said its a far stretch for the Giants to draft a QB next year based on needs and Mariota being a possible #1 overall pick, but to say felt out the Giants will not draft a QB…

You either have inside info or you are just being negative, We can draft a QB next year we can draft 2 in the same draft, if the Giants feel the need to addresses the future and that future is with a top signal caller they will cross that bridge when the time comes, People said we wouldn't draft so many positions and were proven wrong.

And what is your reasoning for the giants not touching Gurley?

Yeah, no chance on Mariota, I know.. I'd much rather have a good yr, personally. But who evers does need a QB and gets a chance to get Mariota, I bet they hit the lottery.
