It would be a rare thing since track stars make so much less than Football players do.
He is a good football player, but he is a world class Sprinter virtually guaranteed a spot on the Olympic team. Despite that according to Demps' own words on the NCAA site "he is a football player who runs track" and not the other way around.
It would be kind of wierd for him to not play in the NFL since he doesnt even have to play football now for his scholarship, he could have easily gotten 1 just for track. So why risk injury if he had no intention of moving on to the next level and potentially risking his track career for a hobby.
