Besides 07.. 90 season somewhat same as 11

We had a much better season that year. That year 13-3 with losses to Philly prior to the big game everyone was talking about giants vs niners battle of unbeatens. Both lost that week and then they beat us 7-3 a week later.

we also lost to Bills 17-13 i think when Simms went down for year.

We played and beat the Bears in first round 31-3 not unlike we beat TB and Atlanta in 07 and 11

We then went on the Revenge tour beating the Niners in NFC CG and BILLS in SB...

We have a Knack for doing this. SO since we cant play anyone in SB we lost to in Regular year lets hope if we get by SF we play a rematch with the Ravens to avenage our only SB Loss.

Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

We didnt have that happen in the 86 or 00 seasons playing teams we did not lose to in the Playoffs or teams we didnt play at all.

But i like this montra lately with the REVENGE TOUR or Avenge SEASON

Football has been very, very good to us.

1990 was nowhere near the same as this year.

That year we went into the playoffs with our backup QB and a struggling offense. No one expected us to beat SF on the road and we did so without even scoring a TD in the game. Our win was abig upset.

This year we have a high-powered offense and the teams are more evenly matched. A win by either team would notconstitute an upset.

That is True. I was only comparing in the sense of beating two teams in the Playoffs and SB that had beat us in the Regular season in 90. SF and Bills.

Just like we did in -07 with Dallas, GB and the Pats

and so far this season beating GB and with a chance to avenage another Reg season loss to SF.

Also was point out how in all 3 of those years. 90, 07 and 11 we beat a team in the First round we didnt play in Regular Season.

    90 we beat Bears 31-3

    07 we beat TB24-14

    11 we beat ATL 24-2

Lots of Stuff reminding us of other SB years has to be a good thing.
