Re: 30% chance of percepitation on Saturday and Sunday
If anything, a wet field could favor our pass game.
Niners front 7 depends on their speed for success. A wet field can slow them down a bit.
Also, WRs know where they are cutting on their routes and defenders are vulnerable to slipping while trying to adjust to WR.
Same could happen to our defense, of course, but it then boils down to who performs better in wet conditions--Eli, or Smith?
Smith's performance in Saturday's game notwithstanding, I have faith in Eli performing relatively better than Smith, regardless of field condition.

In the end whatever hurts our offense (weather wise) hurts their offense.
People are worried about our offense like we will be the only ones playing in it. Idk who is going to win, but I am excited about the game.

Have been a weather nerd for most of my
life; taken some classes along with Spotter
Certification.
There are ways to tap into each local
weather office and their discussions.
As of now the SF office is thinking the rain
will end late Sat and resume around midnight
Sun. Sunday itself looks overcast with some gusts
nr 20 but no rain...

the rain would affect each team the same way... no big deal about the weather

I was worried because at one point it was 70% but now 30%.
