    Some stuff from Niners Board

They are mostly way overconfident, but a few are not as happy to have to play us. Alot of respect. Not all Niner fans are like the ones coming on our boards. but like any teams boards you have you homers.

"Wow. I was not afraid of the Saints on the road. But I'm getting a few chills thinking of this Giants team. We had a tough time earlier this year, and they weren't on a hot streak. Someone talk me down..."

"I am only afraid of Cruz and Manningham."

D.)"Giants scare me right now more than the Packers did honestly. It's gonna be a frigging fight for the super bowl..."

"the 49ers offense drove at will against the giants in that first meetup. The only reason the game wasn't out of hand earlier was our red zone struggles. With those issues alleviated somewhat, I feel confident going into this one. But with the chemistry and Cruz have together, nothing is guaranteed"

"Manning is good but Brees was far more dangerous."

"We better man up. Giants are playing really, really well."

"This will be a very tough game. Eli played great today, but against a porous Green Bay Defense that gave up a hail mary and just ran out of gas at the end. Giants D isn't as good as ours but very solid. Harbaugh and his staff as well as the whole team will have their work cut out for them"

"I honestly did NOT want to see this team. We are going to have to play REALLY well."

Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

"Yeah, this. I really wanted to play Green Bay, but not have to go there to do it.

We're playing the tougher team imo."

    "Alex The Giant Killer" (LOL)

"Looks like Canty is going to injured so thats a plus for us"

"Do you know who the HC of the 9ers is? Just checking...."

"Yeah but don't underestimate Tom Coughlin, he chopped down an unbeatable Patriots team in the SB. Harbaugh will have to be at his best."

"Cause I dont think weve played in rain(correct me if in wrong)
    And we rarely do...

So they might have a slight advandage being used to that wet weather and all"

"I honestly think Eli will be overwhelmed by our defense."

"Eli Manning in a horrible division where his divisions afc divison was the afc east, was 9-7.

    I forgot this...

"I wonder how we are going to play the Giants this time around?

If you all remember, offensively, we came out throwing the ball all over the place. It really surprised NY. They went in to the game focusing on the run."

That did confuse us first time around.

I dont care if eli left the giants for the week and went to sing with the waddadooda happy wingo tribe in nigeria.

he will be under center on sunday." (LOL)

"Keep in mind that if the Giants win, Coughlin will be tied with Tom Landry for the most road playoff wins by a head coach with 7. Being home is a great advantage, but not as much with the Giants as other teams."

It's probably because Nicks will be taken care of by their best corner back. It still leaves the other 2 to have a chance to be open unless double teamed, which would leave another open.

They're also forgetting Ballard...he didnt have a good day that game if I recall

"The Giants on the otherhand have been ANYTHING but consistent, and rely on streaks to get by.

The Giants were swept by the Redskins.

We went 13-3 you went 9-7..face it people. Does it mean anything now? Not really cause it's anybody's game, but to hear the talk being talked...LOL We can only at this point go off of what we know to this point.

    Niners D= 229 PA
Giants D= 400 PA ...........................................Nuff said"

Are they in for a RUDE awakening

"Let's not forget that the Giants won only 9 games in the regular season. They are an up and down team that was one game away from missing the playoffs completely. Its going to be tough for them to come out to San Francisco and win this game. The Niners are very tough at home. They haven't lost there in 4 months and that was a fluky overtime win that Harbaugh's inexperience cost them."

They are failing to realize all the injury we had which is why we were up and down. They have not lost in 4months at home. Another Streak we can stop.

Not really it is just that so many of them have been coming over here in droves. wanted to see if that was the overall feeling on their boards or not

also there are some things i didnt know.

like they have not lost in 4months at home...another streak to break

also there was something about the AFC West having a really good record vs other Conference in playoff games. have to go back and check. but yea. they beat saints. last year Seahawks beat em, AZ won several playoff games on way to SB

This was off their boards. not so sure if it is true but/////
