1. The team that went 9-7 is not the same team that's playing now. If it were, they would not have beaten Green Bay, Atlanta, Dallas, and the Jets.

2. The offense has been there all year. But the defense has finally solidified with the return of injured players, by using better communication, and by believing in themselves. The defense is now playing Giants defense.

3. The Giants have the blueprint to win. A winning QB, a smothering D-line, and a coach who has done it before.

2) Balance- Run/Pass, played a big role in the win over GB, Bradshaw's late 2 quarter run set up hail Mary. Jacobs was unleashed in the Atlanta game, need him to repeat that...Pass see #1

3) Heart....that is the intangible that the niners lack.....Giants are a mentally tough team that does not quit

You have to play us for 60 minutes and I don't think Alex Smith is the real deal. He played like crap against the saints for 50 minutes. That might work against an indoor soft team that is scared of grass, not us. Giants proved that they can score. Niners did put up some points but I don't see that happening this week..
