    Jacobs.........praises Rice

    The big guy keeps surprising.............

"“I grew up a San Francisco 49ers fan,’’ Jacobs said yesterday. “I’ve
loved Jerry Rice, I still love Jerry Rice. I give him a lot of credit
for the game being the way it is today. I have nothing negative to say
about Jerry. If he feels that way, he feels that way.’’

    wow. slow clap
Manning is king of the comebacks, having engineered 24 fourth-quarter comebacks and 28 game-winning drives, including two in the final minutes of Super Bowls XLVI and XLII. Moreover, his quarterback rating rises to 94.2 in "late-and-close" games. With numerous comebacks, eight postseason victories and a pair of Super Bowl MVPs under his belt, few have been better with the game on the line.

I'm sure if they ask him gameday when he's all amped up this will be his response: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDMZaarH2ug

All that flatery was just a setup, kinda like...
I thought this post was really interesting...Until I read it.

Jacobs ended with "Let him try to tackle me" Maybe jacobs should retire and then go against jerry in pros vs joes.

Let me make two points on this topic.

First, Jerry Rice was the greatest wide receiver the game has ever known so it is easy to throw compliments his way.

Second, he did BJ and us a favor with the slight jab. We will see the best that BJ has to offer and that will be a good thing for us.

    Grazie Jerry!

No one remembers who came in second.
