    Honorary Captain

Strahan was an honorary captain for the coin flip in San Francisco. Does anyone know if the Giants have anyone lined up to be honorary captain for the Superbowl? I would love it if they brought David Tyree back.

Tyree is a great suggestion. Also, Strahan or/and Pierce.

25th Anniversary of the 1986 team, what a time it would have been for the 80s throwback uniforms.

I say bring the whole 86 team out as honorary captains. Even LT. There, I said it.

Yes strahan was Hugh to have on sidelines
Football has been very, very good to us.
In the midst of this losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

For XLII they had Doug Williams present the trophy as it was the 20th anniversary of his Super Bowl win.

It would be only fitting to have somebody from the 86 Giants presenting the trophy for their 25th -- even if the Pats should win.
