Anybody know the Vegas Odds?

I know when the playoffs started.....the Giants were +2000 (20/1) to win the super bowl....does anyone know the odds after the redskins loss? I'd have to imagine it was higher than that. Hopefully this $200 I put on the G Men in the beginning of the playoffs turns into $4000. Anybody else take em?

Have you considered hedging your bet to make sure you make money regardless of the outcome?

Or are you going to let it all ride on NYG?

Can't hedge.... If you are a Giant fan, you can't bet against the Giants and on the Patriots.

Could put a g on the pats to guarantee me money but something about betting against the giants doesnt feel right no matter what

Sure you can you just have to bet the Patriots on the money line no points. Then you win your Giants ticket (minus what you put on the Patriots money line) if they win or you win the Patriots ticket and lose the Giants ticket if the Patriots win.

For example, you are currently holding a Giants ticket for $5000 if they win.

If the Giants lose you lose the orignal bet and the $5000. That sucks.

Now if you want to guarantee yourself some money here is what you do. Find the best line for the Patriots on the money line which is basically they have to win that's all. Let's say you find Pats -150 on the money line.

Put up $1500 on the Pats money line to win. If they do you get $1000 plus your $1500 or $2500.

If the Pats lose your original ticket is still good. However, you just decreased it by the $1500 you lost on the Pats so you get back $3500 instead of $5000.
