Thread: Giants got a break right? yet Vernon Davis never got one?

It's still inconclusive. Just because his heel is hovering over the sideline doesn't mean it's touching it.

One more thing... who cares
Looks to me like the right half of foot at top is out
There are two white lines. The hardline that was painted before the game, and the blurry one that is the bleeding after the week of rain. The fact that we're arguing shows that it is indeed, inconclusive, hence it should go along with the original ruling of the field.

Its Inconclusive they made the right call. They also made the right call on Bradshaw. When a players forward momentum is stopped the play is called dead. U cant hold up a player push him back and strip the ball free. Thats what the 49ers did. There trolls move on. Giants are going to win a super bowl and the 49ers can fall back into insignificance again.
These 49er fans quickly forget the BS call they got when they tackled an eligible receiver in a game in the playoffs 10 years ago that the NFL came out and said they FD up.Not a call that was right. So 49er fans if u want to cry about this one think of it as Karma being realigned if that helps u sleep at night.
I keep hearing on WFAN Malussis "Giants caught a break, if Bradshaw's fumble was called" man if the officials call that Davis play right SF doesn't get a TD. Thier offense never really gets started.
Malussis is Francesa's old Producer which is why he's equal parts arrogant idiot and frequently wrong!
Bottom line is...anyone who says that that was a fumble doesn't know a damned thing about the rules of football, because his forward progress was stopped and the ball wasn't stripped away from him until he was being pulled backwards!
It's no different than a guy catching a ball passed the first down marker and being pushed backwards and tackled. The ball isn't put down where he went down, it's put down where he was when his forward progress is stopped and thats why the ball carrier is given the first down.
It wasn't a fumble.....period...end of story!

This is all pointless.

It's a loser's lament to cry about bad calls, non - calls and bad luck...that's why you almost never see wining teams do it.

Everyone knows that in no game are all the calls correct, nor are they all called. It happens and it happens to every team. No team is unfairly singled out...that's complete BS.

The only ones who ever claim differently are those unable to deal in a mature with their team's loss. Whether that's a player, a coach, writer or fan the model doesn't change.

It's a solely a loser's lament. Nothing more.

Sorry I didn't have my XRay Specs to see it hovering.... Laymans eye says he's out
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

# of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
4-New York Giants!!!!!

Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

Malussis is un-listenable. The guy is clearly trying to get under Giants fans skin but he lacks any substance.

Like I said, when the niners got turnovers this year, they were takeaways. When we get them in the playoffs, they are luck. Enjoy the offseason sf!
No one remembers who came in second.

I know... They lived off that sh---- all year and now complain when we do it.

We play GB who had only 6 fumbles all season and we cause 4 in one game and they call it luck

The 49ers had only 8 turnovers total all season yet turn it over twice to us in a short span of time in one game but they say it's luck

You're absolutely right about that!
That's why I can't stand these talk radio idiots, because they can say whatever they want, and if a caller disagrees or points out why they're wrong, they NEVER own up to it, but instead, tell the caller he's the idiot and they take the classic cowards way out of an argument, and they hang up on them!!!!
