There was a thread about last ten NFC teams in SB

Were all different teams. Since we went in 2000 there have been ten different representatives from 01 to 10. Niners were trying to make it 11 different teams. Remarkable considering theres only 16 NFC teams.

However the Giants straightened it out by getting to SB twice in 4 years and 3 in 11 seasons. Only the packers come close at 3 in 16.

    Giants just keep on surprising....

    List......
    10---Packers
    09---Saints
    08---Cards
    07---Giants
    06---Bears
    05---Seattle
    04---Philly
    03---Panthers
    02---Tampa
    01---St. Louis

And of course GMen in 00
Football has been very, very good to us.
Even though 2013 was a losing season, we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
2-Washington, Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, New England
    4-New York Giants!!!!!

    Let's make it 5 in 2014 !!!

Yeah, what always gets me about 08 is the fact we beat both of those teams in their own stadiums.

Yep I remember saying to friends that we beat both the Cards and Steelers that season on road and even ripped the ravens..
But response I got was the same one I give to skins and saints fans this season... Lol

It's not who u beat during yr.. It's who u beat in playoffs to get to SB and win the SB if u get that chance

We had chance to regroup that season and make a run.. Couldn't do it so never got chance for rematches with Cards and steelers that season like we have done vs other teams in other seasons..

yeah, and in '07 the cowboys and packers beat us at home.

we clearly had the best team in the league that season during sept - november. but it just wasn't our year. you can blame plax, and that's a legitimate argument. but i'm not sure we would've beaten philly anyway. we didn't have osi or strahan, and tuck and others were banged up/worn out by the end of that season. our linebackers were then exposed for their lack of speed. plax clearly hurt the offense, but we just weren't playing championship football down the stretch. don't forget, we lost to the eagles twice. and the cowboys.

if you want people to respect the giants this year as a 9-7 super bowl team, you can't make that argument for us in '08. just didn't get it done.

Just plain ran out of gas overall unlike this year. The opposite...

Someone said and I agree that I would rather go 9-7 or 10-6 every season and get hot like 07 and 11 vs what we did in 08 or what falcons did last season and GB this year
