    He's a mobile quarterback with a big arm, he's perfect for the McAdoo offense. He should be starting instead of Eli.

    I'm actually interested to see how he does as a starter, he never got a chance with us because of Eli. He had a pretty good college career in Syracuse!

    If he was going to start somewhere, he'd already be signed.
    Only 50/50 he finds a back up job somewhere imo.
    No one remembers who came in second.

    With Smith ready to sign, it certainly makes sense that Nassib is not coming back, period.

    I wish him well and hope he catches on somewhere.

    If he gets playing time I believe he can be a good QB.

    what has Geno Smith shown to make him so much more valuable to the Giants than Nassib, thats the part I don't understand....

    It's not that Geno is anything special. It's that Nassib, from what we have seen of him over the past few years in both practice and preseason games, does not appear to belong in the NFL as even a number three guy. He cannot make routine simple throws.
